Des played at a garden party we had last week. He brought with him a bass player and together they were absolutely perfect, playing their choice of smooth, popular jazz. The music was beautifully delivered and they made such a great accompaniment to the party, the ideal background music to create a warm and swinging atmosphere and a few people couldn't resist a dance. We all loved it, young and old. Des was also highly organised, professional and conscientious. Superb, I would highly recommend Des.

I have known Des for many years and we were colleagues in the same design and build company, but it was not until Des played the piano for an important company corporate function that I realised just how musically gifted he was. 

 

When my daughter was married and her reception was arranged at Swinfen Hall, it seemed a natural choice to ask Des if he would play for us during the arrival of guests and we were so pleased that he was able to do this for us.

 

Des played tirelessly for over three hours and we were delighted with the variety of music he could provide.  In fact he was so good the bride and one of her bridesmaids joined him at the grand piano, much to the enjoyment of the guests.  I believe that Swinfen Hall were so impressed that they asked if he would be available for similar functions!

 

Des was so professional and his exceptional talent assisted in the day being a really magical and memorable occasion for us all.

 

We wish him every success in his musical venture and have no doubt that he will succeed.  His talent and love of music are so evident and this is reflected in the appreciation shown by all those who have heard him perform.

Des is just brilliant. His style of smooth Jazz playing is wonderful and can either be at the forefront of an event or as simple live background music. He is extremely flexible and I have seen hi fit comfortably into such varied situations as Christmas day at church, background music at a networking event and as part of a band at a local festival.
