I enjoy playing jazz piano, but can play any style that is required, solo or with jazz guitar, bass, vocals and harmonica.

 

Music is a universal language.​ It needs no interpretor to understand the message it conveys. It has the power to generate a range of emotions no other medium can. It works best when it is produced live.
Nothing else comes close.......



Like a lot of kids I was sent to piano lessons at a very early age and progressed through the usual range of grades, extending abiilities to include classical organ, clarinet, sax and a range of electric keyboards and synths along the way.

 

Served an apprenticeship in local churches playing classical organ and a variety of clubs and pubs on the cabaret backing circuit and working with many well known names in venues memorable and not so memorable.......

 

Now providing very easy listening background music in jazz style which appeals it seems to all age groups. 

When the music you enjoy playing infects those around you with visible indicators of tapping feet and on some occasions tears, you know your love of music has been communicated with others - no greater goal of a live performance.....
